Moving-off detection (MOIS)

Does my HGV need a Progressive Safe System?
HGVs over 12 tonnes gross vehicle weight generally need a valid HGV Safety Permit to enter or operate in Greater London, unless exempt. Vehicles rated below three stars or unrated require the Progressive Safe System. The required equipment must be assessed as a complete vehicle installation; an individual detector or camera kit does not establish compliance on its own. Read TfL’s operator guidance.

Is fitting included in the price?
Yes. Displayed installation prices include standard fitting labour and VAT. Camera systems marked “From” depend on vehicle size, access and cable routing. Published fitted prices apply to the stated equipment and standard installation in Greater Manchester. For other locations, specialist vehicle adaptations or additional equipment, request a separate written quote. We agree the scope and full price before booking.
What happens after the first year of monitoring?
The stated tracker package price includes installation and 12 months of monitoring. To keep using the monitoring service after that period, a further subscription is needed. We confirm the provider’s subscription terms, renewal arrangements and any minimum commitment before you book.
Which tracker does my insurer require?
Check your insurer’s requirements and include them in your enquiry. We can then help you choose the appropriate category and system for your vehicle.
Can I buy online?
For now, all products are available by enquiry. Request a quote and we’ll confirm the product, fitting arrangements and total price before booking.
Quotes, fitting and booking
This website invites enquiries and does not take orders or payments. Sending an enquiry does not create a booking or contract. We provide a written quote identifying the equipment, fitting scope, location, total price including VAT, any required subscription and the installation arrangements before a booking is agreed.
“From” prices describe a standard installation, not every vehicle configuration. Additional cameras, specialist vehicle adaptations, longer or more complex cable routes and locations outside Greater Manchester require a separate quote. No additional charge is agreed by submitting this form.

Providers and retention. Our email and hosting providers process information needed to deliver and secure their services. Hosting services may process connection information such as IP addresses and security logs. Any additional sharing needed to fulfil a booking will be explained before booking. We keep enquiry information only while needed to handle it, follow up requested work or meet record-keeping and legal obligations; the enquiry status, nature of the work and applicable legal requirements determine retention.
